Each whole blood donation has the potential to save up to three lives.
Many variables can impact our blood inventories such as weather, holidays or tragic events. Every day, patients who need blood are in crisis and you can help by volunteering to donate. Less than 10% of the population gives blood, so donors that give on a regular basis are important to meet these needs.
Donor should be in the age group of 18 to 65 years.
The Donor Should not be less than 45 Kilograms.
Should NOT have Hepatitis B, C, Tuberculosis, Leprosy, HIV.
Should NOT had shots for any of the following - COVID-19, Cholera, Typhoid, Diptheria, Tetanus, Plague, Gammaglobulin in last 30 days; Rabies vaccination in last 1 year.
Should NOT have Epilepsy, Asthma on Steroids, Bleeding disorders, Thalassemia, Sickle Cell Anemia, Polycythemia Vera.
Should NOT have had Tattoo in last 6 months.Arms & Forearms should be free from Skin punctures or Scars which are indicative of Intravenous drug use or frequent blood donation.
You need to complete a very simple registration form which contatins all
equired contact information to enter in the donation process.
A drop of blood from your finger will be taken for a simple test to ensure
that your blood levels are proper enough for donation.
After passing screening test successfully you will be directed
to a donor bed for donation. It will take only 6-10 minutes.
you can also stay in the sitting room until you feel strong enough to leave the center.
You will receive refreshments in the donation zone
